A downloadable game
Underling is a complex single-player, time-based, pattern-oriented puzzle game. Through a series of mini-games, players will learn the story of underling, Teef. An explorable home houses different sets of rapid-fire mini-games. Depending on players performance, they will receive a report card on how well they completed the tasks in the set amount of time. This game is created by a group of graduate students with the advisement of their professor. With our intended style, our target audience would be players who are 12+ and enjoy puzzles or cozy games.
The objectives of this game are to complete various items on a to-do list around the house in a set amount of time. This game takes place over the course of five days. Four days are spent navigating a three-dimensional space that contains various interactable objects that trigger various minigames. The final day is based on the player's choices the previous days. If players run out of time, they may repeat the day. Each minigame will use 2D visuals that will either require a mouse or a keyboard input.
